LAMINATED BEAMS

Chateau Building Products produces custom laminated wood beams, curved laminated wood beams, veneered wood beams, veneered curved laminated wood beams, end detailing of laminated wood beams and end detailing of curved wood laminated beams. Using Chateau's proprietary hydra-press technology small runs of custom beams can be produced economically using simple wood moulds.

Beams can be produced using almost any species of wood depending of course on availability. Species that are easy to obtain, are high grade and economical include:

Western red cedar, Alaska yellow cedar, douglas fir, hemlock, spf, pine, big leaf maple, red alder, white birch.

Adhesives used include:

Ashland's Isoset structural adhesive

PVA

Additional related services:

painting, staining, pressure treatment with borate, ACQ or CCA. Dipped coatings including Lifetime, General Paint transparent and semi-transparent stains. End milling, shaping, CNC work, brackets and hardware, engineering and testing.
